5 Steps to Creating Your
Dream Home
We are highly experienced, licensed and insured general contractors whoo are here to guide the process from beginning to end. Castle House Construction is your home consultant, designer, project manager and installer, all in one. 1. In-Home Meeting
Simply reach out to us via phone, email or our contact us form to schedule a time to meet. One of our contractors will visit your home to view the space and provide a free estimate. Together, you and your contractor will discuss your needs, vision and budget to ensure you're on the same page from the very beginning.
2. Cost Estimate
After (or sometimes during) the in-home meeting, we will provide you a proposal for the remodel. The proposal represents the labor cost and timeline of the project. The estimate also factors in your design preferences and budget.
3. Contract
Next, we will provide you a standard, easy-to-read California contract, which details industry rules and regulations for building and safety, team responsibilities, your vision, cost estimate, timeline and homeowner concerns. After the contract is signed, we get to work!
4. Scheduling & Prep
To jump-start the project, you and your remodeling team will meet to discuss the project as a whole as well as next steps. This team can include your Castle House Construction contractor as well as your third-party architect, engineer and/or designer. If you prefer, though, we're a one-stop-shop that can play all those roles.
Should we fill those roles for you, we will draft architectural, engineering and/or design plans for your review and approval. When the plan is set, we oversee the ordering and delivery of materials and finishes. Your project manager can also acquire any building permit from the city of Los Angeles that may be needed to complete the project.
5. Construction & Remodeling
From demo to project completion, we manage everything. This starts with containing the job site to maximize cleanliness. We arrange trash removal and mask the construction area to prevent dust from carrying through the house. We're on-site Monday-Saturday, or the days you prefer. On those days and even off-days, your contractor will provide project updates (in-person and via phone -- whenever you need) as well as consulting on any and all facets of the renovation.
